Really loved the metaphor of the phoenix and how Wajeeha didn’t give up on her dream!! The food blog world is super competitive as much as corporate philanthropy i imagine but there’s no getting away.
You need to step out of that whirlpool of self-doubt and stop labeling your shortcomings as failures. What you call 'failure' is actually life teaching you, redirecting you, and shaping your journey in ways you may not even realize yet. Whenever you feel stuck, imagine pulling your perspective high up, like a drone soaring in the sky, and view your life from a broader lens. And from what I see, you’ve already been doing that—you’re capable of so much more. Sending more power your way!
Thank you for sharing your success story. Because I see no failure, only awakening into life. We tend to want to set an example for our children (the whole world - what pressure!) of being a human who does something valuable. So we do and do and do. But what if we didn't? What if we exampled choosing not to do? What if this was the most valuable something we exemplified and taught (to our children and the rest of the world). What makes humans (as Nature) the most beautiful is our capacity to change and flow. Just another way to express the crash and rise. An inspiring story from an extraordinary human being and mom. 💕
"I wanted to have it all, but to have it all, you need to give it all. With two young kids, I didn’t have much left to give." Feeling this today, and grateful for your story, Wajeeha!

I agree. It came to me randomly one day, when I was thinking back to those days of food blogging. Also is it weird that I really love phoenixes? 😅
Def not weird :-) one of the best mythical creatures out there
